Remaining 15% is bad bacteria are unfavorable pathogenic bacteria.

Both bacteria are present in our intestine known as gut microbiota. Their performances are different relying on age, diet, environment and genes. The duo helps in layering as a protective guard against many intestinal infections, and produce vital vitamin K that helps in blood-clotting proteins. Also, it metabolizes nutrients from food to release energy to the body. The increase of bad bacteria can cause dysbiosis which can leave an unpleasant effect on the human body. Good bacteria also keep an eye on bad bacteria and don’t let bad bacteria increase in the body.

So, the combination of both good and bad bacteria is essential for the good health of the human body. Eat good food including fresh fruit, vegetables, a balanced diet to support your intestinal microflora. One can also add probiotics in their diet.
